Hillsboro, OR, with a population of about 90,000 is the 5th largest city in the State of Oregon and the county seat of Washington County. It is the center of the Oregon Silicon Forest, located about 17 miles west of downtown Portland. Bigger arteries to this friendly town are Sunset Highway (Hwy 26), Tualatin Valley Highway, Evergreen Parkway and Baseline Road. Max train operated by Tri-Met Light Rail System runs from Hillsboro with many stops through Downtown Portland to the east side as far as Gresham.
