KING HEIGHT
West of Downtown at a higher elevation are older estate-size homes, some on larger lots and over 100 years old, that were over-the-years frequently remodeled and upgraded. Many of them enjoy an easterly view overlooking downtown, the harbor with its terminals, Sauvie Island and in the distance the snow-covered mountains like Mt. Hood, Mr. Saint Helens and Mt. Adams. The commute to Downtown is very convenient with less than 10 minutes.

FOREST HEIGHT
West of Skyline Boulevard, nestled in the West Hills, is an upscale planned unit development called Forest Height that spans over 600 acres of hillside at an elevation of less than 1,000 feet. Exclusive homes, no two alike, townhomes and condos enjoy westerly views of the coastal ranges. From here, watch a spectacular sunset or a dramatic storm coming in from the Oregon Coast! Forest Heights has miles of steep and winding roads, about 7 miles of trails and a beautiful community park with an oversized pond. Adjoining Forest Park has about 5,100 acres of wild growth reserves with 70 miles of recreational and wildwood trails. Essential shops and gas stations are in the nearby shopping center. Excellent roads connect this neighborhood to Downtown with a 10 to 15 minute drive. Forest Height is mainly located within Multnomah County.
